Ingredients

2. Zhi Chuan Wu3g
3. Tian Nan Xing3g
4. Mo Yao3g
5. Ru Xiang3g
6. Di Long3g

Indication

This formula treats chronic pain, weakness, and numbness caused by wind-stroke. It is especially for those symptoms in the lower extremities. Also used for wandering pain in the joints and bones and reduced range of motion due to wind-cold-damp bi syndrome. In both conditions, the symptoms are made worse by cold. Tongue coat is white and moist.

Dosage note: The above ingredients are to be ground to powder and formed into pills. For decoction, reduce the dosages proportionately.

Contraindication

1. Pregnancy
2. Patients with yin deficiency.
