Indication

For heat lodged in the Lung, which obstructs the flow of Qi. Signs and symptoms include fever with or without sweating, wheezing, thirst, coughing and difficult breathing. Tongue coat is yellow. Pulse is slippery and rapid.

Contraindication

1. Wheezing due to cold
2. Cases where pathogenic qi lingers due to Zheng Qi deficiency
