Indication

For summerheat invasion, presenting with fever, sweating, irritability, thirst and urinary difficulty. Tongue coat is thin, yellow, and greasy. Pulse is soggy and rapid.

Contraindication

1. Cases with copious, clear urine
2. Summerheat without dampness
3. Use with caution in treating weak, elderly, or Yin-deficient patients
