Indication

Chronic coughing and wheezing, thick, yellow sputum, coughing of pus and blood, a sensation of heat and irritability in the chest, facial edema, gradual emaciation, a purple tongue with either a thin and white or a greasy, thin, and yellow tongue coating, and a floating, deficient pulse, especially at the distal position.

Contraindication

1. Contraindicated in cases with any evidence of an externally contracted pathogenic influence.
