Indication

Wind-heat or damp-heat in the Intestines or Stomach, forming toxin. Signs and symptoms include bright-red bleeding from the rectum during defecation which usually (but not always) precedes the passage of stool, blood in the stools, hemorrhoids with either bright-red or dark-red bleeding. Tongue is red. Pulse is wiry, rapid or soggy, rapid.
