For excess Liver channel heat stirring internal wind. Signs and symptoms include persistent high fever, restlessness, irritability, vertigo, dizziness, and spasms and twitching of extremities. Tongue is deep-red, dry, or burnt-looking with prickles. Pulse is wiry and rapid. In severe cases there may be impaired consciousness or loss of consciousness.
