Action / Indication

1. Clears damp-heat and regulates urination: used to treat lin syndrome with hot, stony or bloody painful urinary dysfunction, and edema.
2. Clears heat and stops bleeding: used to treat the reckless movement of hot blood, and traumatic injuries.
3. Clears the Lungs, reduces phlegm, and stops coughing: used to treat chronic bronchitis with coughing and expectoration of yellow sputum.
4. Replenishes white blood cells: used recently to treat cancer patients post-chemotherapy to increase white blood cell count.

1. Shi Wei is often combined with Jin Qian Cao, Ji Nei Jin, and Che Qian Zi to address urinary stones.
2. Larger dosing of Shi Wei is often warranted to address urinary stones.
