Unblocks Liver qi stagnation: used to treat stomach pain and distention in the hypochondrium bleching, vomiting, and hiccups. This herb is valued because it circulates qi without drying fluids, or damaging yin. It is relatively mild for relieving abdominal pain.
Dries dampness and dissolves phlegm: used to mildly improve chronic coughing with profuse sputum.
