San Fu Moxa - LU/KD Deficiency Form...

Formulation based on Qing Dynasty doctor Zhang Lu's original formula. Best for individuals presenting with allergic asthma like symptoms such as asthma, chronic cough, chronic bronchitis, chronic rhinitis, allergies, chronic arthritis, etc. Each packet contains enough ground raw herbs to create 3 applications of approximately 8 balls for each of the 3 San Fu days in summer. Affix in place with a bandage. San Fu Moxa Aftercare-Leave the medicated plasters on for 6 hours or until they start to feel highly irritated - whichever comes first.-After removing the plaster, wash the area gently with soap and water.-It is common to feel a slight irritation or itchiness for several hours afterwards.-Blisters may or may not form; it is common to have red marks for up to two weeks or longer.-If a blister does form, treat the wound as you would any normal blister. Keep it clean and loosely covered. If it breaks, apply a topical antibacterial cream to prevent infection. Cautions and Contraindications-Do not use if pregnant -Do not use with children under 2 years old. San Fu moxibustion may be used on children over 2 years of age; however,, shorter retention of no more than 20 minutes is recommended.-People with skin problems or serious skin allergies should use with caution. -People with diabetes should use with caution.-Do no use if suffering a high fever or sore throat. On the day of treatment, one should avoid alcohol, cold and raw foods or spicy hot foods. Avoid foods that easily cause allergies. WARNING: It is normal for skin to redden at the San Fu application site. Please note that some people will scar from this treatment with permanent discoloration at the application site.
