In addition this ingredient has anti-inflammatory effects. Clinical studies have demonstrated that Sytrinol reduces total cholesterol by up to 30 percent, reduces LDL cholesterol levels up to 27 percent, and triglyceride levels by 34 percent, within four to twelve weeks; it also has a positive impact on apoprotein B and apoprotein A1 levels. Results from the first trial of sixty subjects show that treatment with 300 mg of Sytrinol per day, provided in two tablets of Polilipid, reduced total cholesterol by 25 percent, LDL cholesterol by 19 percent, and triglyceride levels by 24 percent. In the second trial, with ten subjects total cholesterol and LDL was reduced by 20 percent and 22 percent respectively. Apolipoprotein B (structural component of LDL) decreased by 21 percent, and triglycerides decreased by 28 percent. The first twelve weeks of a long terms study have been completed. Compared to a placebo, Sytrinol subjects saw decrease of total cholesterol by 30 percent, LDL by 27 percent, and triglycerides by 34 percent. In addition HDL levels increased by 4 percent. Sytrinol was developed on twelve years of research that include 250 in vitro, in vivo, and clinical studies. It contains polymethoxylated flavones (PMF) shown to decrease apoprotein B, needed for the structural synthesis of LDL cholesterol; tangeretin and nobiletin which decrease a liver enzyme (diacylglycerol acetyltransferase) needed for endogenous synthesis of triglycerides, and tocotrienols which inhibit HMG COa, a liver enzyme responsible for endogenous synthesis of cholesterol. Pomexcellent, pomegranate extract, treats multiple aspects of cardiovascular disease including atherosclerosis, improving blood flow, LDL oxidation, and high blood pressure. It is designed to have the same levels of punicosides, polyphenols, and allagic acid as pomegranate juice. It has high antioxidant activity (ORAC value 3186).
